CWA Artist in Residence

Charles Wright Academy in University Place, WA is hosting their annual Artist in Residency. We are seeking a professional artist to work in our private studio on our 107-acre campus. The program runs for one semester during the academic year and allows students of all ages to catch a glimpse into the world of a professional artist. Publicity, a private studio, and numerous other resources including a press and kiln are made available to the artist in residence.

Apply to be the Artist in Residence

The Charles Wright Academy Artist in Residency program runs throughout the academic year (flexible for your availability), and will end with a professional reception, during which your work will be displayed in the school’s gallery. During the residency you will be provided with a 240 square ft private studio space to work in and access to school resources including a press and kilns. You will also be granted an honorarium at the conclusion of your residency. Publicity through the school’s website and other resources will be provided.
